WIEF Roundtable Series
The WIEF Roundtable was designed as a unique extension of the WIEF Annual Forum. This programme provided an avenue where regional and local business leaders could congregate to leverage existing business and economic strengths and define key steps and measures to take in order to transform a common vision to reality.
Since its launch in Bahrain in February 2011, the WIEF Foundation had organized similar Roundtables in Istanbul, Moscow, Johannesburg, Dhaka, Madinah and London that addressed specific economic and business issues. The WIEF Roundtable had received overwhelming response and support from government leaders, business communities, and the media of the respective countries.
Due to the runaway success enjoyed by the programme, the WIEF Foundation plans to hold more Roundtables in the future. Plans are afoot to hold similar programmes in Korea, Morocco, Spain, Japan, China, and Australia.
WIEF Pyeonngchang Roundtable 2014
The WIEF Pyeongchang Roundtable 2014 will be held in Gangwon, Republic of Korea on 15 – 16 December 2014. The Roundtable, dubbed the “Conference in the Snow”, will be held at the Alpensia Resort Convention Centre in Pyeongchang, the venue of the Winter Olympics in 2018.
Organised by the World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) Foundation, in collaboration with the Gangwon Provincial Government, the Roundtable is a gathering of international investors and business leaders from various countries interested in exploring the opportunities in Gangwon in the areas of banking and finance, halal food industry, property and infrastructure.
The 2 day Roundtable programme consists of 3 thematic discussion sessions on Finance, Tourism and the Property sectors, guided matchmaking sessions to maximise networking amongst delegates and site visits.
WIEF Roundtable은 WIEF 연례 포럼 연장선상의 독특한 프로그램으로서 고안되었습니다. 이 프로그램은 각 지방/지역 기업가들의 영향력과 경제적 역량을 집결하고, 공공의 비전을 실현해 나가기 위한 중요한 수단과 조치들을 탐구하는 장을 제공.
2011년 2월 바레인에서 Roundtable이 시작된 이후 , WEIF 재단은 구체적인 경제/사업 관련 주제를 논의하는 유사한 Roundtable들을 이스탄불, 모스크바, 요하네스버그, 다카, 메디나, 런던 등지에서 개최했습니다. WIEF Roundtable 은 각국 정부 지도자들, 경제계, 언론의 전폭적인 호응과 지원을 받아왔습니다.
프로그램 의 엄청난 성공으로, WIEF 재단은 향후 더 많은 Roundtable을 개최하려 하고 있습니다. 한국, 모로코, 스페인, 일본, 중국, 호주에서 유사한 프로그램을 진행하려는 계획이 현재 진행중입니다.
평창 2014 WIEF Roundtable 은 2014년 12월 15~16일 대한민국 강원도에서 열립니다. “눈 속의 컨퍼런스”라는 별명으로 불리는 이 Roundtable은 2018년 동계올림픽 개최지인 평창 알펜시아 리조트 컨벤션 센터에서 진행됩니다.
강원도의 협조 하에WIEF가 주관하는 본 Roundtable에는, 강원도의 은행 및 금융 / 할랄식품 / 인프라 및 부동산 분야의 기회를 탐색하고자 하는데 관심이 있는 다양한 국가에서 온 국제 투자자들 및 기업 지도자들이 모이게 됩니다.
2일간의 Roundtable 프로그램은 금융, 관광, 부동산의 3가지 주제와 관련된 토론 세션 및 대표단 간의 네트워킹을 극대화 하기 위한 파트너링 세션, 시찰 일정으로 구성이 될 것입니다.
