Following the success of the 9th WIEF held in London last October, we have begun preparing for the 10th WIEF in collaboration with Dubai Chamber. The WIEF Secretariat, led by the Hon Tun Musa Hitam, Chairman, WIEF Foundation, travelled to Dubai to attend the first Coordinating Committee Meeting to lay the foundation for its latest edition of the world-class, high-impact forum.
During the meeting, H.E. Hamad Buamim, President and CEO, Dubai Chamber, said that WIEF – as one of the world’s largest forums to share knowledge, experience and expertise in the Islamic economy – would help support Dubai’s vision to become the world capital of the Islamic economy.
H. E. Hamad Buamim’s message reverberated the aim of the UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, on developing the broader halal industries such as food, tourism, leisure, education and standardisation, using WIEF as a platform to bridge businesses across countries and regions.
With purpose and ambition in sync, the team is confident that the 10th WIEF will be more successful than the 9th WIEF – it will be a breakthrough once again and it will definitely be worthwhile for all the business people.
“The 10th WIEF is a very significant milestone for us and it is important that we make it a success,” the Hon Tun Musa ended the meeting in an affirmative note.
