WIEF PARTNERS UNITE AT RAMADHAN IFTAR

In conjunction of the holy month of Ramadan, WIEF Foundation hosted an Iftar to build social and spiritual connections with its members, media, corporate partners, sponsors and special guests from Teratak Nur Barakah; an orphanage based in Shah Alam in the spirit of sharing. The event took place in Royale Chulan Hotel participated by 120 guests. The event is first of its kind hosted by WIEF Foundation.
“We’d want to renew the co-operation and ties between our partners, and Ramadan Break Fast was a good way to strengthen our partnership.” said Tun Musa Hitam, Chairman of the WIEF Foundation.
As the ‘azan’ was sounded at around 7.28pm, Muslim guests took some light meal before the Maghrib prayers. Continued by ‘Nasyid’ and ‘Tarian Sufi’ performed by Teratak Nur Barakah. The evening ended with Isha’ prayers and ‘Sunat Terawih’ lead by guest Imam from Iraq.
One of the main highlights of the event included the presentation of ‘duit raya’ to the orphans from Teratak Nur Barakah.
