The 5th Regional WIEF Online Marketing Workshop will take place in Amman, Jordan on 18-21 April 2016. It is a collaborative programme between the WIEF Businesswomen Network (WBN)with the Islamic Centre for the Development of Trade (ICDT); an organ of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC), and supported by the Agadir Technical Unit (ATU), Amman Jordan.
30 women entrepreneurs from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Morocco, Egypt, Palestine and Jordan will be participating in the four-day Workshop.
The 5th Regional WIEF Online Marketing Workshop would provide general knowledge to the women entrepreneur on how to use internet as a channel to connect their businesses to the World Wide Web. Participants will be taught on web development and management, internet marketing, search engine optimization techniques and social media marketing tools.
Upon completion of the Workshop, participants will have a strong grasp on the use of website for their online business as well as to enhance their product and services particularly through the use of social media.
The 5th Regional WIEF Online Marketing Workshop is the continuation of the successful series of Online Marketing Workshops organised by the WIEF Businesswomen Network namely,
- 1st WIEF Online Marketing Workshop in Kuala Lumpur in February 2012,
- 1st Regional WIEF Online Marketing Workshop in Nairobi, Kenya in October 2012,
- 2nd Regional WIEF Online Marketing Workshop in Surabaya, Indonesia in April 2013,
- 3rd Regional WIEF Online Marketing Workshop in Casablanca, Morocco in February 2014 and
- 4th Regional WIEF Online Marketing Workshop in Kuching, Sarawak in August 2014.
