IdeaPad

Disruptive Change:
Impact and Challenges

Ideapad 2017 is an exclusive session at the 13th WIEF. It provides a platform for startup businesses to take the stage and pitch to an audience of potential clients and investors.

Four startups with the most innovative ideas will be selected to pitch in front of a panel of judges comprising angel investors and venture capitalists. Each startup will be given five minutes to pitch on stage. It’s followed by a 10-minute Q&A by the judges that’ll allow further elaboration about the startup idea. After which, investors will decide who they might want to invest in or work with.

IdeaPad has always received plenty of attention and interest from investors. So, if you’re a startup with an innovative idea and it’s commercially viable, or you’re an investor looking to diversify your investment portfolio and younger talents, this is the right place for you.

As a participating startup or investor, you’re also entitled to a complimentary registration. This will give you access to all the 13th WIEF Forum programmes.

Selection Criteria for the Four Startups to Pitch at IdeaPad:
• Must be an innovative product or service.
• Must have some form of traction, i.e: sales, subscribers, funding from investors, etc.
• Attractive pitch deck.
