The 12th WIEF will see the continuous promotion of Islamic economy as it convenes world leaders, government representatives, economists, academia, and the business community to address pressing economic and social issues. The Forum also promotes the values of cross-border business and economic partnerships as it provides an international platform for governments and the business community to showcase their cutting-edge ideas, galvanisesupport, and recruit collaborators.

Volunteers are integral members of the team at the WIEF Foundation. You can make the 11th WIEF in Kuala Lumpur a huge success by serving as a liaison officer or volunteer. Meet interesting people, boost your confidence and gain additional skills.

As a Liaison Officer, you will:
Assist a selected group of Role Players, invited to speak at the Forum.
Ensure your Role Players are briefed on their time and location of their respective speaking slots.
Help with any practical questions or requests from the Role Players.
As a Volunteer, you will:
Be assigned to work in various areas such as Speaker Management, Event Setup, Logistics, Registration, Hospitality, Delegates Management and many more.
Provide support to the WIEF team
· Master, Bachelor Degree, Diploma holders
· Between 19-35 years old
· Fluent in English
· Ability to converse in other languages will be an advantage
· Presentable, outgoing and has good communication skills
The volunteering period is between 2nd - 4th August 2016 and you will be required to fulfil between 10 to 12 hours daily. However, working days and hours will be extended depending on requirements of the department you work in.
Accepted applicants must be able to arrange their own transportation to and from the Forum venue. For outstation applicants, you will be responsible for your own lodging throughout the duration of your volunteering period.
